KAIKINI 2016 LOOKBOOK
JOURNEY IN PARADISE
Most of my work these days is for websites, web catalogues, social media and other online outlets. It's always refreshing to see it get polished by a graphic designer and printed into this magical tangible thing. This used to be the regular back in the golden days where film was the norm, before all magazines went bankrupt and before the A.D.D generation had to have everything instantly. The always amazing ladies at KaiKini not only brought it back old school with a print catalogue but we photographed this look book in the Kamokila Village, an ancient location preserved to resemble the time of the last reigning king of Kauai, King Kaumauli'i. It was an honor to be a part of and I hope everyone is inspired by the artists that made every piece you see in these photos; bikinis, leis, crowns, hats & huts.
