Every once in a while you meet a couple that has been together since, well, ever since. My wife and I are high school sweethearts and Dan and Brandie have us beat by one year. Growing, maturing, phases, trends, fights, make ups, make outs, music, movies, college, travel, adventures, food, wine, poetry, love notes and the excitement of your youth are all experienced with your best friend/partner/lover. You end up becoming each other in a strange sort of way on the road to growing up together. You complete each other's sentences until you don't need sentences to communicate. Body language, facial expressions or even just eye contact can suffice in telling your other half exactly what's on your mind. It was good to see all this in a couple that was celebrating their future rather than their past because, let's be honest, young love that survives is only found in old souls.
